POLICE are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Cowdenbeath.
The Peugeot 207 was found alight at around 6.50am this morning (Tuesday) on High Street and was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The Times told you earlier today that emergency services were called to the scene of a car "well alight" in the area.

Detective Sergeant Stephanie Drummond said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to get in touch.
"I would also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the incident to contact us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0422 of May 2, 2023.
