COMMUNITY spirit is alive and well in Benarty as local staff were "pleasantly surprised" by two donations.
Volunteers at Benarty Community Shop were recently visited by Sally Shields and Keevah Young.
Sally, from Lochgelly, and Keevah, from Ballingry, used their artistic flair to raise money for the shop.
By selling her drawings to her family and friends, seven-year-old Sally was able to gift £30.
Keevah, 9, raised £24 by selling loom band bracelets that she had made to family and neighbours.
Volunteers Linda Michie and Marie Couper thanked the girls for their kindness.
