SOME might say Noel is more talented than his brother Liam and some others would say the opposite, but only one Gallagher has a tribute to them in Cowdenbeath this weekend.
A Noel Gallagher tribute is booked for Wee Jimmies this Saturday as Acoustic Gallagher come to town.
The band will be playing two 'semi-acoustic' set as they perform songs of Oasis, Noel's solo work and his High Flying Birds.
Stuart Watson, of Lochgelly-based Rubber Stamp Promotions, said: "This will be Acoustic Gallagher’s first Fife gig and they’re really looking forward to playing in front of the Wee Jimmies crowd.
"The band who are based in the Borders played the biggest music festival in the North East of England last year, the Hardwick Festival, which takes place in the grounds of Hardwick Hotel County Durham.
"Supporting at this one is the ever-popular Crossgates-based Michael Law and he will be opening up the gig playing a set covering artists such as Paolo Nutini, Johnny Cash, Bryan Adams, David Gray and Pink Floyd to name but a few.
"If you’re looking for a great night of live music on Saturday then look no further than this gig!"
Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets can be purchased from the Wee Jimmies bar and online through Ticketweb. Tickets cost £10 and any unsold will be available on the door on the night.
