FIFE Council has released an urgent message to homeowners as maintenance work takes place.
The local authority has stated it will be carrying out essential maintenance to the system used for logging housing repairs.
The work will start tomorrow (Friday) and run over the weekend, February 24 to 26.
A spokesperson stated: "This means we can only take emergency repairs - one you believe to be a danger to health or safety - over the phone.
"You can still report an emergency repair online if you prefer at: https://www.fife.gov.uk/services/form-pages/request-an-emergency-housing-repair
"You can also report non-emergency repairs online at https://interfinder.fife.gov.uk/cgi-bin/fife_iftr_launch.pl
"We expect the system to be available from 8am on Monday (27 February).
"We understand that this might cause some inconvenience, but we need to ensure we get help to those who need it urgently.
"We really appreciate your help."
