A SCOTTISH extravaganza was laid on at St Patrick’s RC Primary School in Lochgelly to celebrate Burns Day.
Children from all classes put on a show to share their learning with parents and carers, who enjoyed it with some 'shortie' and our other national drink, Irn Bru.
Songs, poems and stories were performed by pupils, celebrating our language and culture, while Scottish refreshments were also on offer.
Headteacher Fiona Millar said the event had been a great success and demonstrated the hard work that has been taking place in the school.
“Parents and carers were invited to a Scots Extravaganza to share and celebrate the learning which had been taking place across the school with a Scottish focus,” she said.
“It was a wonderful afternoon, and the children particularly enjoyed the opportunity to share their learning.
“The parents were also extremely complimentary and enjoyed Irn Bru and shortbread with the entertainment.”
