TWO men were caught with offensive weapons in Ballingry.
Russell Bryson, 32, formerly of Rosewell Drive, Lochore, now of Possilpark, Glasgow, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on October 19, 2020, at Cleikimin Crescent, Ballingry, he was unlawfully in possession of an offensive weapon, a piece of wood.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client had “no great recollection of the incident but there was a background of difficulties with some people in the area”.
His co-accused Robert Gunn, 31, of Ivanhoe Avenue, Lochore, was not in court as he had been jailed for another offence.
Gunn had admitted that at Cleikimin Crescent, on the same day, he was unlawfully in possession of an offensive weapon, a metal object.
Sheriff Alison Michie fined Bryson £370.
Sentence was deferred on Gunn until February 22.
