A £1,000 offer is on the table as a reward for anyone who finds a car stolen from Cowdenbeath.
A high-value, 2014 blue Ford Fiesta ST was taken from Blamey Crescent last night (Tuesday).
The vehicle - registration plate: XO03 JCK - is believed to have been broken into by thieves between 11pm and 7am this morning.
It is possible that the car's old plates are now in use: SY64 UBL.
Darren Millar, a family member of the car's owner, told the TImes: "It was parked on the road outside just a couple of houses up from his house, so you could see it from the window. But he never heard anything through the night. He woke up this morning to it stolen.
"It's a high-value car and he's only had it about a year, but it's his pride and joy.
"He's out with pals in other cars searching for it just now.
"There's a £1,000 reward for anyone who finds it and we are able to get it back."
Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number: 20220727-0551
