A WOMAN was stretchered off Benarty Hill by a local rescue team after sustaining an injury while walking at the weekend.
The walker injured her lower leg on Sunday and called police for help.
A party from Ochils Mountain Rescue Team attended the scene to assist her and were able to take her by stretcher down from the hill.
She was then taken to hospital, but the extent of her injuries is not known.
The team's Facebook page said: "The team were called out by Police Scotland early this evening (Sunday) to assist a casualty with a lower leg injury in the Benarty Hill area
"Local team members including a team doctor quickly located the casualty, they were treated for their injuries and then stretchered off the hill.
"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
