Sitting on a bench on Cowdenbeath High Street last week, the traffic – as usual – was at a standstill.
On the pavement side, riding between the double yellow lines, came a cyclist with clearly little regard for the queue he was trying to jump.
His mirrors could easily have damaged any car he was so close to, yet us motorists have to allow five feet (1.5 metres) space when we pass them.
Drivers pay road tax, cyclists don’t, yet we’re the ones continually penalised.
