FIFE commuters faced an unusual delay on Tuesday evening after a cow got on the track near Lochgelly.
Services were subjected to delays after the incident which happened at around 4.30pm.
Train users took to social media confirming they had to wait while waiting for it to moo-ve on.
A Scotrail spokesperson confirmed a cow on the line had caused delays.
He added: "However, the disruption was minimal and the line was fully reopened a short time later."
