A LORRY driver was stopped by police as a load of 210 pallets was deemed unsafe and 'two tons overweight'.
Fife Road Policing Unit, working with colleagues in Edinburgh, brought the vehicle to the side of the M90.
Officers had received reports that the lorry was "likely going to tip over".
The driver was subsequently reported for dangerous driving after the vehicle's load was found to be heavily overweight.
The force said: "We found that the load of 210 pallets wasn't secured properly and it was two tons (29 per cent) overweight.
"Driver reported for dangerous driving."
