BAD weather looks set to batter Fife after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for strong winds for tomorrow (Thursday).
The forecast predicts that gusts could reach 75 mph in some areas with most affected places experiencing winds between 50 and 60 mph.
The warning is in place from 3am until midday and the Met Office says the conditions may lead to some short term loss of power and other services.
Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport may occur while there could be difficult driving conditions and possible delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
The warning adds: "Whilst such wind speeds are not unusual for the time of year, recently weakened trees and structures may mean a greater likelihood of localised damage or disruption."
