COWDENBEATH manager Maurice Ross has added to his squad today with a loan signing from the Premiership.
A loan deal for the remainder of the season has been secured with St Johnstone for midfielder Alex Ferguson.
The 18-year-old joins teammate Sam Denham in swapping McDiarmid Park for Central Park for a spell this campaign.
Denham has impressed in recent appearances and boss Ross will be hoping that Ferguson, described as a 'playmaker' and 'top prospect' by Saints, can make an impact.
A statement on the Cowdenbeath website stated: "Earlier in the season he was with Edinburgh City and we are pleased that Cowdenbeath FC have now been able to arrange with St Johnstone for Alex to come and play for the Blue Brazil for the remainder of this campaign.
"Thanks once again go to St Johnstone for agreeing to the loan move and we offer Alex a hearty, warm welcome to Cowdenbeath FC."
