KELTY HEARTS are hoping a bumper backing will travel west for the club's fifth round Scottish Cup tie – and are putting their hands in their pockets to help.
Following their superb win over holders St Johnstone, the draw for the next round of the competition has paired them with another Premiership outfit, St Mirren, in a match that will be played over the weekend of February 12.
It will be another historic occasion for the SPFL League Two leaders who, until this season, had never been as far as round three in the senior Scottish Cup, and another shock victory would propel them into the quarter-finals.
Now the club, which saw a capacity crowd of 2,183 pack into New Central Park on Saturday, are aiming to galvanise an army of maroon-clad supporters to descend on Paisley by offering free bus travel to the game.
"As a thanks for the support and backing of the club, Kelty Hearts FC will fully fund all supporters buses heading to Paisley for the big Scottish Cup last 16 tie against Premiership side St Mirren on the weekend of 12th February," they said.
"We are awaiting confirmation from the SFA on the exact date and time of this fixture.
"To book your seat on the buses, please contact one of our supporters club officials. Call or text Gordon Keatings – 07576485358 – or John Phillips – 07810857058."
All under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
