A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with housebreaking incidents in the Benarty area including a Lochore barbers.
Cowdenbeath police has confirmed the male was due to appear in court yesterday (Monday) following the arrest.
A statement on their Twitter page said: "A 37-year-old male has been arrested and charged in relation to theft by housebreaking and attempted theft by housebreaking at commercial properties in the Benarty area.
"The male is being kept in police custody to appear at court."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that one of the alleged break-ins had been at a barber's shop in Lochleven Road last week which Cowdenbeath police had previously issued an appeal about over social media.
