A SHEFFIELD Wednesday season ticket holder has won the booby prize in Cowdenbeath's November Lottery.
Chris Heeley picked Cowdenbeath as his Scottish team many years ago and he has won a bottle of Cowdenbeath FC single malt 10-year-old whisky, as part of November's monthly lottery draw.
Cowdenbeath FC's Annual Christmas raffle will be drawn today (Saturday) in the Andy Matthew Lounge before the match with Albion Rovers.
Club secretary, David Allan, reminded fans to get their raffle tickets returns in before 2pm this afternoon.
He said: “Please get any raffle tickets handed back into the club before 2pm on Saturday - then you could be yet another lucky winner with Cowdenbeath FC.
“There are so many winning stories to tell at Central Park just now.
"Congratulations go to Gary Roy who won our latest 100 Club draw – Gary has shown true Christmas spirit by kindly donating the £140 he won back to the club.
“Then of course John Cameron won £900 in the club’s Blue Brazil Bonus Ball Blockbuster Bonanza draw – and John too has generously made a donation to the club.
"Another £140 was won by our 50/50 winner at our last home match.
“Our weekly lottery continues to dispense good cheer with a recent jackpot win of £1,100 each for Roy McCluskey from Lochgelly and Duncan Graham from Kelty.”
