Winter is coming... and that means changes to brown bin uplifts.
FIFE Council has announced that changes will be made to brown bin collections this winter.
Brown bin (food and garden waste) collections will be reduced to a four-weekly schedule.
In a Facebook post, the local authority said: "We're making some changes to brown bin (food and garden waste) collections over winter.
"As in years gone by, the service will reduce to a four-weekly collection from Monday, November 15, returning to fortnightly collections from Monday, March 7, 2022.
"We've updated the online bin calendars at www.fife.gov.uk/services/bin-calendar so make sure you check when your next brown bin collection will be."
