A Cowdenbeath road has been shut by police following severe flooding.
Heavy rain has hit Fife for the majority of the day and as a result, many parts are now flooding.
Foulford Road in Cowdenbeath has experienced severe flooding and police are now on scene directing traffic away from it.
Darren Watt, a councillor for Cowdenbeath, took to social media to highlight the issue.
He said: “It is completely impassable between The Glen Tavern and Leuchatsbeath Drive because of severe flooding.
“This area has been impacted by flooding many times in recent months but this is the worst I have ever seen with the water beyond knee height in places.
“With the rain continuing to fall, I fear this will worsen into the evening.
“Thankfully, police are in now attendance preventing access.”
