COWDENBEATH’S new badge has been motivated by a major pit accident.
Now on sale at the club shop is the new Cowdenbeath FC commemorative badge and this latest club crest badge is a tonal version.
Secretary David Allan said: “The black background, of course, reflects the club’s mining roots - and is a nod to two significant local mining events.
“Firstly the lockout of 1921 - now a century ago, and secondly the Donibristle Disaster, which occurred out on Mossmorran 120 years ago in 1901. These attractive new badges are available at £4.50 each”.
