A GASHOLDER in Cowdenbeath has been dismantled months after the work was approved.
SGN received planning permission from Fife Council to dismantle the huge storage unit, off Elgin Road, which is no longer in use.
The site is at the eastern edge of Cowdenbeath and consisted of a large area of hardstanding, the gasholder and some smaller buildings and structures which will also be knocked down.
Pictures sent in by Robert Hunter have detailed the dismantling at various stages.
