Nicola Sturgeon's next Covid update to Parliament will take place this afternoon, as cases around Scotland appear to be falling. 

These updates have become a weekly fixture during which the first minister updates MSPs on the Covid situation in Scotland and the government's approach to dealing with the virus. 

Last week she detailed how Scotland aimed to deal with the pandemic over the winter, including details of a booster jab scheme and vaccinations for children aged 12-15. 

Westminster has recently confirmed it will relax its traffic light system for international travel, however Scotland has not followed suit, instead merging the amber and green list and retaining the red list.
