ROAD police in Fife stopped a speeding driver near Lochgelly last night and warned motorists to be careful in the current conditions.
Officers stopped the driver on the A92 near Lochgelly around 9pm last night [Monday] as he was speeding despite heavy rain and very poor visibility.
Two cars had broken down in one of the lanes, and that coupled with poor conditions, mean care must be taken when driving.
The force tweeted: “#FifeRP stopped this driver speeding in the A92 near Lochgelly. Road conditions are wet and there’s a lot of spray making visibility poor. We’re now at the second broken down vehicle in lane 1 today. It’s a recipe for disaster.”
