THREE cars were involved in an accident on the Cuddyhouse Road, Cowdenbeath, on Saturday night which saw people needing help with minor injuries.
The accident occurred at around 7.30pm, near the Recycling Centre and the junction with Old Perth Road, and as a result the road was closed to allow the people with injuries to receive attention and the damaged vehicles to be removed.
There were two fire engines and three ambulances in attendance at the incident.
Police Scotland reported: "This was a road accident involving three cars. The minor injuries were dealt with at the side of the road."
It took some time for the incident to be dealt with and the road re-opened.
