A CROSSHILL man who shouted and swore outside his partner's door after their breakup has been fined £200.
Gary Crawford, 37, of Catherine Terrace,, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on June 8 at Park Street he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm in that he did shout, swear, act in an aggressive manner and repeatedly strike a door.
Depute fiscal, Alistair McDermott, explained that the couple had been in a relationship for two and half years and had a child together born last year.
Crawford had been out in be a public house and when he went back an argument broke out about.
He shouted and swore and was banging on the door to the property there.
Defence solicitor, James Moncrieff, said his client had been keen to collect items after the couple's break-up.
"He was under the influence of alcohol and he turned up at the complainer's mother's house.
"He is keen to make matters amicable for their child."
Sheriff Paul Reid imposed a fine of £200.
