A BALLINGRY man drove when disqualified after being “kicked out” by his partner after a row.
Scott Wilkie, 29, of Kirkland Gardens, represented himself when he appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on November 6 in the same street he drove a car while disqualified and without insurance.
Depute fiscal, Azrah Yousaf, said that Wilkie’s partner had warned him not to take the car because he was banned but he had replied: “I don’t care.”
Sheriff Craig McSherry asked Wilkie: “Why were you driving that day?”
He replied: “Because my partner kicked me out of the house. I didn’t want to leave my car and my stuff there because she was very angry and upset at the time.”
He was fined £800 and banned from driving for six months.
