A KELTY man caused a drunken commotion at an hotel where he was spending the night after his sister’s wedding.
Graeme Evans, 37, of Blairadam Crescent, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 31 at Forester Park Golf Resort, Pitdinnie Road, Cairneyhill, he repeatedly shouted, swore and caused damage to an hotel room.
He also admitted that on May 9, at the Odeon Cinema, Fife Leisure Park, Dunfermline, he breached his bail condition not to be in contact with his partner.
Depute fiscal, Azrah Yousaf, said Evans and his partner had attended the wedding and had then stayed overnight at the hotel.
They had gone to bed at 2am but at around 5am Evans began causing a disturbance which resulted in a hole being knocked in a wall and bottles being strewn across the room.
He was shouting and swearing, saying “I don’t give a f***” and a 999 call was received by the police.
Defence solicitor, Alexander Flett, said: “It was his sister’s wedding and too much drink had been taken.”
He added that his client had later paid the hotel £595 for the damage caused.
Sheriff Craig McSherry fined Evans £800.
