A KELTY man has been banned after he drove dangerously on roads near to the Fife Leisure Park in Dunfermline.
Ross Cunningham’s erratic driving included repeatedly overtaking in the nearside lane and swerving across lanes.
Cunningham, 28, of Seafar Drive, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on June 19 last year at Sanderling Way and Sandpiper Drive, Dunfermline, he drove a car dangerously, accelerated aggressively at speed, drove at a speed which was excessive for the road and traffic conditions, repeatedly passed vehicles on the nearside, overtook another vehicle when his view of the road was not clear, swerved across lanes of traffic, all near to the entrance of a leisure park.
Sheriff Craig McSherry imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work.
Cunningham was also banned from driving for 20 months and will then have to sit the extended test.
