A BALLINGRY teenager has been put on a Court order banning him from consuming alcohol following a catalogue of offending.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, vandalised cars, damaged someone’s home and physically struggled with relatives in drink-fuelled trouble-making.
He admitted a string of crimes.
On Christmas Day, in Kirkland Gardens, he damaged the wing mirrors on two parked cars by kicking them.
He also admitted assaulting a woman there on the same day by throwing a glass bottle at her.
On New Year's Day, in the same street, he damaged a door frame and smashed a window.
On Valentine's Day, in Ballingry, he repeatedly shouted, swore, made offensive remarks and struggled with his sister and aunt.
Sheriff James MacDonald imposed a community payback order with 12 months’ supervision and the special condition that he does not consume alcohol.
He was also put on a four-month restriction of liberty order.
“If you think I’m clipping your wings young man then you’re right in that,” said Sheriff MacDonald.
