DOG fouling continues to be a real problem in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area.
Cowdenbeath Area Committee heard that there had been 97 complaints about fouling to Environmental Services over the past year.
Councillor Darren Watt said: "The problem of dog fouling never seems to go away.
"It just does not seem to be an easy problem to sort and I wonder if further public engagement on the issue would help."
The Safer Communities Team's Liz Watson said that there was no doubt that continued work within the communities on this issue was needed and she urged people to report any dog fouling situations they come across.
