KINGLASSIE Primary School said cheerio to three members of staff on the last day of term.
Brian Gavin, Katherine McWhirter and Alec Davies have all retired from the school and a special event took place especially in their honour.
Mrs Katherine McWhirter, who is currently the primary 2 teacher hung up her boots after working at the school for the past 14 years.
Saying goodbye along with Katherine is janitor Brian Gavin and PE specialist Alec Davies, who have both been at Kinglassie for the last seven years.
Margo Smith, Administrative Assistant, said: "The classes have been preparing a special gathering for the past term ..in secret!
"The children presented special songs, poems for each retiring member along with specially designed thrones for them to sit on for the special performances.
"They were then presented with their retiral gifts from staff and special memory books from the children.
"There was plenty of laughter and tears for our special retirees."
