THE Buffalo Farm, near Auchtertool, has had two new arrivals.
They are the cutest little Pygmy Goats and farmer Steve Mitchell has thanked everyone who answered his appeal for name suggestions for the duo.
He said on the Farm's Facebook page: "I’d like to introduce Olive (left) and Ivy (right). Also I am really pleased to say that mum Willow seems to be feeling a lot better today and is ready for visitors after her difficult birth.
"Thank you to everyone who suggested names, it was very hard to pick from such a good list! But don’t worry, more kids to come so we will need your help again"!
The Buffalo Farm has Scotland's largest herd of Water Buffalo and the buffalo roam the hills at Clentrie farm, near Auchtertool.
The business was set up in the spring of 2005 by Steve Mitchell, with the objective of producing superior quality meat to market direct to the public both through local door to door sales and on a wider scale through farmers markets.
Since then The Buffalo Farm has developed into a full butchery business which includes a retail wholesale outlet and visitors are welcomed.
