A KELTY pensioner had gold jewellery stolen from her home by a woman who did cleaning work for her.
The culprit, Katie Hamilton, 45, of Centre Street, Kelty, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on September 18, 2017, at Keltyhill Crescent, she stole a quantity of jewellery.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the victim was a 74-year-old woman and seven gold rings were stolen.
She added that the victim was known to Hamilton who used to “do the odd cleaning job for her”.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Hamilton will be sentenced on July 31.
