A CAR in Cowdenbeath burst into flames as emergency services were called out yesterday evening (Tuesday).
Fire crews raced to the scene at around 5.30pm as a car parked in a driveway on Bridge Street caught fire.
Police are treating the incident as non-suspicious and no further police action will be taken.
There were no casualties reported.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, said: "The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 5.30pm on Tuesday, October 30 to reports of a vehicle on fire at Bridge Street, Cowdenbeath.
“Operations Control mobilised one fire engine to the scene, where crews extinguished the fire.
“There were no casualties.
“Crews left at 5.55pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
