A TOTAL of £250,000 has been made available through Fife Council's Cowdenbeath area committee to encourage local people to come up with ideas to improve 'oorbit' of Fife.
A steering group has been set up and there's a voting event in Kelty on Saturday, from noon to 2pm in the Moray Institute, where everyone over the age of eight can have a say in how the cash should be spent.
It's a family friendly and inclusive event with lots of free activities - Bonnie Beasties will be there with interesting animals to handle and learn about, there will be a bouncy castle, facepainting, and snacks and soft drinks available free of charge.
So if you can, head along and vote for your favourite ideas for 'oorbit'.
If you can't make it on the day, vote online at oorbit.21.me
