A HEAVY police presence was spotted near Fife Leisure Park in Dunfermline on Friday evening as officers searched for a man.
Several police vehicles were spotted in Whimbrel Place and nearby areas including Pittsburgh Road and Ericht Drive at around 7.30pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were in the Whimbrel Place area of Dunfermline conducting enquiries to trace a man in connection with an ongoing enquiry.
“There was no trace of the man and enquiries are ongoing.”
