Motorists are advised to check their journey before leaving
POLICE have advised motorists to take extra time today as the A92 is currently closed due to an ongoing road incident.
Currently the A92 is closed between Crossgates and Cowdenbeath. This has caused traffic congestion on surrounding roads including M90, Halbeath and Crossgates.
Traffic Scotland has said the incident is a HGV on fire which is blocking the road, with the fire service also on scene.
Police Scotland have now said the A92 westbound between Cowdenbeath and Crossgates is now open.
