WITH the transfer window now open, Cowden boss Gary Bollan has been busy in the market as he looks to strengthen the squad for the second half of the season.
Striker Aiden Malone was the subject of a transfer deal with Linlithgow Rose and the 25 year-old steps back up into the senior ranks after previously featuring with both Queen’s Park and Forfar Athletic.
Aiden joined Linlithgow Rose at the start of the current season after previously making his goalscoring mark in the juniors with Cumnock. Also signing up at Central Park is 20 year-old Ben Reilly who has been with East Fife for the last 12 months.
Ben came through the youth ranks of Hamilton and Rangers and is a versatile player – he can play up front and in a midfield role.
Also putting pen to paper for the Blue Brazil is Jordan Hornby.
Jordan is a 19 year old defender who has been with Dundee United since 2015.
Said Mr Bollan: "We warmly welcome Aiden, Ben and Jordan to Central Park and they will feature in the pool for today's match at Elgin.
"We also say farewell to striker Josh Morris who unfortunately was hampered by injury for much of his time at Central Park.
"Josh leaves with our best wishes for the future and has now signed for Lowland League club Whitehill Welfare".
