FIRE crews raced to tackle a fire on a Stagecoach bus service in Lumphinnans yesterday afternoon.
Two fire engines rushed to Viewfield Terrace within minutes of the fire being reported to Fife Fire and Rescue Service at 1.40pm, with the fire extinguished by 1.53pm.
Everyone on the bus was accounted for and there were no injuries or causalities caused by the fire.
Sand was provided by Fife Council's Road and Pavements Department to soak up the oil and petrol spilling from the bus, before crews left the incident at 2.23pm.
